Airbag Vests

Air bag jackets are a fairly new concept. These are very fashionable jackets that look great while out riding your motorcycle. The difference is that they have an airbag installed in them. Every year lives are lost to riders having a wreck while riding their motorcycle. Bones are broken and injuries do occur. This is a great way to keep these things from happening so often. Police officers in other countries have even begun to wear these jackets on duty. This shows how much faith in this invention's ability to save lives has grown in recent years.

The air bag is not inflated while you are out driving. You will just have on a normal jacket that has the capability to help you out if needed. The jacket uses a compressed carbon dioxide cylinder for the airbag. When you are thrown off of your bike in an accident, it should cause enough pressure to make the airbag deploy for you. You will then have a protective air bag on your back and front to help protect you. The jacket will expand and cushion your fall.

When you get onto your bike, you do have to remember to hook up the device. It is a simple attachment as easy as putting on your seat belt when entering a car. Just think of it the same way. You must hook it up to help protect yourself in case of an emergency situation.

There are a lot of reports of lives that have been saved already by these jackets. These make a great gift for someone you love and do not want to see injured. They will thank you for loving them enough to help save their life. When my son insisted on buying a motorcycle, I bought one of these jackets for him and made him promise to wear it. As it turns out, he loves it, so it worked out for everyone.
